Boats

Bicycle
Discover Thessaloniki by bike! Touring the city becomes even more fun through the network of cycle paths!
The shared bicycle system in the Municipality of Thessaloniki, called I-BIKE, managed by the company THESSBIKE, has eight stations and a fleet of 200 bicycles, including two-seater, four-seater and electric bicycles, as well as wheelchairs for people with mobility difficulties.
In the center of Thessaloniki you can find the fully equipped bike shop of City- Bikes.gr, where you can rent bikes, take part in a bike tour, as well as repair your bike. BikeIT is also active in bike rental, with its main store in Nea Paralia in Thessaloniki, where you can also rent bikes of various types.
There is also the possibility of organizing bicycle touring routes for individuals, groups, companies, clubs, etc., both inside and outside the city, so that you can enjoy your bike ride in the way you want.
Taxi
There are about 2,000 taxis in Thessaloniki. There are taxi stands in many parts of the city and at the major entry stations such as the Airport, the Railway Station, the Macedonia Intercity Bus Terminal, the Port, where you will find taxis 24 hours a day.
There is the possibility of special transport such as:

Bus
The Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organisation (O.A.S.TH.), the second largest Urban Transport Organisation in Greece, connects the entire city through a dense network of bus lines. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket offices of O.A.S.TH. and from 1200 ticket outlets or from the ticket machines inside the buses. The organisation runs a free service programme for people with disabilities.
Try the 'Cultural Line No 50' starting from the White Tower. It passes through monuments, important buildings, old neighbourhoods, and 'narrates' the historical wealth of Thessaloniki as it progresses through time. Passengers are provided with audiovisual material in Greek and English.

Thessaloniki sightseeing
The company "Thessaloniki sightseeing" offers tours in Thessaloniki with its open-top buses. The route, starting from the White Tower, is completed in 70 minutes and makes 8 stops at the main sights of the city, while you can visit any other historical monuments or points of interest you wish, taking advantage of the continuous bus service (frequency of 30-80 minutes depending on the season). The narration is in 8 languages (Greek, English, German, Russian, Serbian, English, Russian, Serbian , Hebrew, Turkish, Romanian).
